Prince’s Rainforests Project: Save Our Forests
The Prince's Rainforests Project (PRP) calls for emergency action and funding in order to achieve a fast and significant reduction in tropical deforestation by helping rainforest nations to focus instead on alternative, more environmentally friendly (low-carbon) economic development activity.
To succeed, emergency action will require the support of the governments and communities of rainforest nations as well as the governments and citizens of major developed countries and meaningful involvement from private investors.
By signing up as a supporter of The Prince’s Rainforests Project, Team Earth members will add their voice to the many calling for urgent action to fight climate change by addressing rainforest destruction and help assure that we can gain the support of the many partners needed to assure success.
